SILVER HAIRED LEGISLATURE RESOLUTION

NO. 3504

A RESOLUTION recommending the legislature pass out favorably either 2017 House Bill No. 2323 or Senate Bill No. 227 to provide a cost-of-living adjustment (COLA) for certain retired members of KPERS.

WHEREAS, During the 2017 legislative session both House Bill No. 2323 and Senate Bill No. 227 were introduced to provide a COLA for certain retired members of KPERS; and

WHEREAS, Both bills remain alive in committee for consideration and passage during the 2018 legislative session: Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Silver Haired Legislature of the State of Kansas: That we recommend the Kansas legislature pass out favorably either 2017 House Bill No. 2323 or Senate Bill No. 227 to provide a COLA for certain retired members of KPERS.
