News Release – 2019 ANNUAL SESSION PLANNING HAS BEGUN

     Planning has begun for the 2019 Annual Session of the Kansas Silver Haired Legislature.  This year, the event is slated for October 1-3, 2019 (Tuesday – Thursday), in Topeka.  Registration will begin on Tuesday at 9:00 AM, with the afternoon programs slated to begin at noon or 1:00 PM.  On Wednesday, the entire SHL body will spend both the morning and afternoon time-frames as the State Capitol, with the Annual Banquet scheduled for that evening.  The Annual Session will end on Thursday morning around 11:00 AM following another session at the Capitol.

     Further details will be provided as the planning committees finish their work.  Delegates will receive their packets by mail sometime in mid-September, with much of the material also being sent out by email for those who have that capability.  See you all in Topeka on October 1^st through October 3^rd.
